To the Saung Budaya Studio family & friends -
With great sadness, we have decided to close our physical studio located in Long Island City. This decision was not made lightly, and unfortunately, with the global pandemic occurring, we felt it was better to close down our studio with hopes of reopening in the future, when it is safe for all of us to gather.
Though our physical studio is closing, Saung Budaya Studio will still be hosting an array of virtual classes including traditional Indonesian dances and our fun Dangdut-Tone workout class! We are putting together a very exciting program with workshops, special guests and so much more.
Thank you to everyone who put their efforts in making this studio come to life. Thank you to all the supporters, members, and all the love we received since our opening day in January. The future is bright, and we look forward to one day reopening a studio where we can gather again and enjoy the beauty of Indonesian dance.
In the meantime, please join us! and we can't wait to see you on the (virtual) dance floor, where we all can dance together while staying safe and healthy.
